About this place
Decked out in bright pink tones, Melt asleep is a concept cafe and bar themed around Japanese idol culture, offering drinks and light meals in an upbeat setting. Cast members dressed in pastel outfits greet guests in a spacious seating area, providing a welcoming ambiance that puts first-time visitors at ease.
Visits are centered around 40-minute all-you-can-drink plans covering draft beer, highballs, lemon sours, tea-based mixes, and a wide variety of cocktails. A broad selection of soft drinks is also available, ensuring those who prefer non-alcoholic options can comfortably join in.
For food, the cafe serves nostalgic standards like omurice and shrimp pilaf alongside easy bar nibbles such as roast beef, prosciutto with smoked cheese, and thick rolled omelette. Guests can also order hot delivery items from a neighbouring restaurant—including fried chicken, French fries, pizza, pasta, and steak—making it straightforward to sit down for a complete meal.
Bottles of Champagne, party shots, and commemorative instax photos (cheki) provide typical concept-cafe entertainment. Operating from 18:00 in the evening until 1:00 late at night, it serves well as a casual stop after touring Akihabara or for an energetic toast among friends.
